Gotta be honest – I think its too plain :/ I especially think that the black could use… something – sparkle or shine or something! I love black gold but I even wish it had some kind of shine to it – this is too much stark black and stark purple for me 🙁

Brb, gotta go paint a my little pony in barn swallow now 😉
To me, it’s not so much “too much black”, as it is… that the colors are all placed in the same areas. Put a black gold right next to it and the colors will be in the same exact spots. Same with Black emerald. The color needs to be “moved” on the sculpture… and that’s why it looks so… plain? Because we’ve seen it all before, just with a different accent color.
But I still stand by that even if it looked just like this photo, I would still love a purple and black dragon series.

I wanted to mention Barn Swallow to as a possible LP color, but didn’t because I figured it was kinda pointless :(. But I agree. I’d LOVE to see all of the dragons offered in this color. It’s fresh and really different from what’s been produced recently. I know it’s not for everyone, but lets face it – your never going to please everyone.
count me in for barn swallow 😛 I personally dont have/ like any of the black dragons. The new ones that are coming out are interesting but i dont like them enough to buy. I want something bright like more rainbows(the ones that haven’t been retired) or barn swallow or VF
