I agree about the “black AND” colours, we already have black gold and now black emerald violet or whatever… plus the black emerald and black ruby/ hades seem more popular anyway *shrugs*
If you want to do purple how about lavender pearl? 😀 (I’d be happy with a pink or blue colour as well)
As much as I’d like to see a black emerald, or grackle.. I really kinds gotta jump on the bandwagon of there are other colors I’d much rather see… the black would be a lot better if there were something *more* to it, but I have to say my least fave thing of the black & ___ (Now owning a BVP) is how lacklustre the black is… a metallic black I think would be much more appealing… or black with some highlight on it..
But personally I’d die to see Indigo go LP, or I’d rather see a handful of the other colors that have been posted into a vote forum on the “General Windstone” part of the forum than see another black & ____ right now..
Mahogany is a good one, I’m iffy on blue ice (I don’t like the overabundance of teal instead of sky blue, I’d LOVE the color if it were more sky blue. Personal Opinion) but it is a popular color among members – I dunno, something with some true Windstone pizazz! 😉My BVP is very pretty 🙂 ‘n I do adore her.. but I’d like to add some more color to my collection now 🙂
I think it’s really pretty, though I’d like silver accents instead of gold, personally. However I’m not in the market for another spectral, so my purchase would be limited to a curlie or maybe a coiled. 🙂

I agree with a lot of the people here too. While the Black and Purple is pretty, it’s too similar to the other black-and-s. I would much rather see the pastel colors, especially the pink or blue ice colors. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!
I pretty much agree with others here. I already started collecting the new Black Violets LP’S that are in the store now and have the Black Golds too. So enough with the black. I’d like to see some lighter colors with no black. Even go for Emerald Green and anything lighter in color.

I think it is lovely, especially since it’s a Spectral Dragon, but I’m WAY more for something on the idea of Hades! Black and Red together are the ultimate combination! *nods* You could even call is BLACK RUBY! Doesn’t that already make your mouth water!? LOL!
This is too close to black and gold, just black and gold, minus the gold really. To be honest, I’d buy maybe one or two dragons in this color, but if a black and red combination was produced, I’d have to have them all!!! ^_^
To be honest, I will also agree with the whole “we are way overdue for a LP of a blue or turquoise color”
Hey, don’t forget!! I was the first to suggest tiger stripes and bengal markings on dragons, which were HUGE sellers. Then loud and obnoxious colors….*cough* Look at this gawdy grab bags we are CRAZY over!!! LOL! Remember how all these things have sold despite the thought they would not be big sellers. I may be an air head, but I know retail and what sells. I’ve been doing it all my life. (sad to say)

Darn – I was hoping that Black Amethyst was part of a “Shadow Dragons” trend. You know – Gold and Black Gold, Emerald Peacock and BVEP, Amethyst and Black Amethyst, Emerald and Black Emerald, Ruby and Hades [or Black Ruby as Drag0n says], Silver and Silver Shadow (I think that is what P.S. called it), Peacock and Black Ice (or some Black with Blue) … In my world you can never have too many black Rising Spectrals. 🙂
As lovely as I think it is, I’d be more in favor of Black Emerald and Black Ruby (in that order). And I definitely agree with the call for turquoise or blue dragons!! BLUUUUUUUE!

This would be my DREAM color for a dragon. Black+Purple=Favorite color combo ever. But, as others have mentioned, something more “dynamic” would be nice, rather than such crisp “lines”. But either way, I’d be sooo happy with a black and purple dragon.
When black gold becomes retired, please replace it with this color 🙂 Hopefully by then I’ll have an actual job and be able to afford them. (I say black gold because of the comment above of “having too many black dragons”. Of course, IMO, you can never have too many black dragons)
