lmao!!!! It’s in the official letter. A drawing by Kyrin’s adorable assistant Karli Lynne. We figured you can’t get anymore impartial than a 2 yr old. 😉 😆 😛
November 20, 2008 at 3:04 am #740719ROFL! That sounds great, you’ll have to take pics! I’m really excited to see who wins! 😀
November 20, 2008 at 11:22 pm #740720I’m hoping to scrounge up the money, but more as a donation to this great cause. Really cool dragon (cool? awesome!), but I’d be forced to sell it I think if I won and that woud not be kosher. Can you just make a donation, no ticket?

Much as it pains me to say anything at all in defense of this particular corporation, 4% in fees is high, but not totally outrageous. On the credit card terminal in my store I pay 3% or more in fees on mail orders, plus other monthly charges.
What we are paying for is the ease and security of the transfer of funds. We could save the $59.83+ fees by having everyone send in a check, through the mail. But if we did that we might have only raised about $60 total by now, and have to wait a few extra weeks to make sure the checks cleared before passing on the money.
Anyway, that’s my argument. My counter argument is that I normally point to the totally outrageous fees charged by PayPal as being a reason to not deal with them. What am I? The 21st Century Schizoid Man?
