Thank you. I did that and everything seems cool. It’s just that I’m always dubious about benefit drives and raffles.
Way too often, when someone comes into my shop trying to sell raffle tickets, it’s for a cause I don’t believe in, and for something I can’t use. I almost feel bad about saying “Good grief no; please go away”.
Very occasionally it’s for a cause I don’t oppose, for something I don’t want, and I’ll buy a ticket or two just to be nice to the person selling them.
I have NEVER had anyone come in selling tickets for a cause I want to support, for something I would like to win.
But if you came into my store waving these tickets for this prize, I’d be like, Oh, that’s good. You got me there.
