June 11, 2008 at 5:33 am #563061I have horses, Aky, but I’ll let them keep their hair. 😆
I saw the novel illustration on DA. Where’s the novel to go with it? 😉June 11, 2008 at 8:55 am #563062thanks all!
@Basil
working at it 😉
I currently have about 13 chapters à 12 pages, which approximately is the middle, Buuuuuhhhhttt we are talking of 10 years difference here, hence I get rabbies reading my ancient writings and descripts and am currently working them up.
I’ve been seriously thinking to snatch my best friend and tell her the story, because sometimes, on some weird days, I am actually afraid I’d not get to finnish it and… well, I am pretty sure I’d come back as a ghost to finnish it. heheh…. my weird thoughts before going to bed.*g*
Perhaps its because the book contains stuff I indirectly wish to say to the reader, or just writing down for myself. One of them is accepting death and believing in yourself.anyhow, more quick doodles. trying to train my faces
again novel “people” from front to back, Antralis, Safran and Fluke.
June 11, 2008 at 11:53 am #563063dehh, I lovez mah tablet 🙂

June 11, 2008 at 5:51 pm #563065gottseidank chasch du dütsch, susch müesst i di is negschte jahrhundert vertröschte, will weni das auno übersetze müesst, heyeyey!
I promise to send you an update and the writing files, as soon as I jump over my own shade of selfcriticismpagedestruction 🙂
I’ve also been thinking to make a short, but for some reason I cant, not because I cant grasp it or have no thread (the story’s in my head since 1994) but because I just… cant. Writers sickness? or even worse, artist-writer sickness combined? I dont know 😉
ehdit:
oh, one more. Last night I felt like making character patterns. I’m gonna copypaste my LJ entry.
really really simple testing of coloration patterns. Originally the bodyforms were thought for Antralis (protagonist) and Jyrell (also an important figure) only, hence the other body’s are the same. I want to redo them in their “right bodys” of course. I just was to lazy right now.
Basically I wanted to see how far I’ve gotten away from their original forms. Which I think they sufficiently did. Of course, if you know the play and see the images you will be reminded. But from the moment on they tear out their throats or ride huge, horned horse-like beings the connection will be blown away. Like humans they also work with their hair, which can be braided, cut or worn open and long (hip lenght). If you wonder about their body form, at an age of 24-26 the males grow again to the behemont adult, called “mahroch”. The believed reason of the growing is hunting. And because that age brings a 38% dying rate it is “delayed” to give them some time for offspring before that. The growing gene of the male often causes severe disformations and problems(blindness and pain) to cathuman/human hybrids.PS: there are dragons in the novel too. and ramhorned horses and unicorns. I promise to paint them more.
EDIT 2:
sorry, creative night. Continuation:
June 12, 2008 at 5:42 am #563066Those characters look cool! I like Safran’s color because it’s different. Here’s looking forward to reading that book!
June 12, 2008 at 8:11 am #563067thanks 🙂
enjoy Safran as long as you can, he wont stay long in the book. But more I wont say. Oh, yes, he’s an excellent swordfighter and his father was a human.
I’m happy that digitalartwork finally allows those minor details I could never do right with watercolors or pencils or on sculptures: black peacock on his body parts.

Wow, all the hard work shows! He is beautiful!
While hiding somewhere in my head I'm on the lookout for white oriental dragons! Please let me know if you know of any available. Thank you!
June 13, 2008 at 5:46 am #563070Yes, he is. What’s his name again?
June 19, 2008 at 10:37 pm #563071I just found out, my screen setting is wrong, you are seeing my artworks much brighter/colorful than I drew them/saw them on my screen. I dont draw THAT colorful and I am not on weed. Oh crap, I hope I can reset my laptop or I´ll have a serious problem.
