my schoolfriends adored the chick. But as much as I like my friends I had to seriously sit on my mouth when one asked if I hade made it up. Guess griffins are not common….

They’re all great. I’m surprised your friends didn’t know what a griffin was. At least it’s not a manticore – German even has a word for griffin! They should know better.
