Well, rereading your wikiquote, you could count Transformers as another example. But I thought Thundercats best.
Dracomancer, are your sculpts right out of your imagination? What inspires your pieces? Have you based them on anything in particular or are you one of those lucky artists whose work springs into being, full blown? I think it’s great that we have so many artistic members on this forum!

i just do what i do..most of my anthro characters that i draw/sculpt pop into my head at 3 am and im all like “wow thats pretty cool..i should sketch it or put it in clay!” my wolfie char i posted here (named valdimur) came to me on a whim out of pure boredom..just kinda created him as i went lol..for sculptures i dont seem to have to draw anything first to get what i want…it just kinda happens and yes thundercats are a kind of anthro with more human characteristics then animal
oh IE heres a sketch i did two nights back of my “fursona” ( furry personality) named Denarin..i have two fursona’s Denarin fits my more..darker moods while Aspen my wolf (getting a fursuit for free from a friend of mine of him)fits my more hyperactive adventurous moods..now…Denarin is a nightmare stallion…i tend to be as original as possible with my concepts lol

He’s kind of goat, horse, man who appears modest and yet has a coy, coquettish look.

I looked all in my computer, but I can’t find my “fursona” pictures. *grumble* They must be in my desktop which currently has a dead power supply. I can rescan them, but it’s kind of like a cross between a lop eared rabbit and a hoofer. It’s colored aqua, bubblegum pink, and black with puffy white fur on the wrists and ankles. It has hand paws, but hooves for feet. I’m working on a suit for it now, but have been stumped on how to make the feet for a while now.

Ummm… I’m not too good at this but a “fursona” is like your “persona” in a way. It’s…well, if YOU were an anthro how you would see yourself. A suit it just a fursuit of that character. They are supposed to be an original character that only you can create for yourself from your own feelings and imagination and that reflect who you are. I guess, that’s how I see it anyway.
