here is another wolf I did, more of a natural color, I used a wolf from a calendar….

February 12, 2007 at 11:16 pm #538769I like the different colors in his fur and the way his eyes really stand out. 😀
February 12, 2007 at 11:30 pm #538770Well, he’s not the best example of your work I’ve seen, but I see where you were going with it. Maybe blend a little more?
I hope I didn’t offend you.February 12, 2007 at 11:32 pm #538771Phoenix wrote:Well, he’s not the best example of your work I’ve seen, but I see where you were going with it. Maybe blend a little more?
I hope I didn’t offend you.UM….I copied the wolf exactly….
why would I blend more and destroy the essence of the wolf…
I’m sure you’d think differently if you saw it in person..
February 12, 2007 at 11:35 pm #538772You are probably right. It’s hard to capture the essence of a painting in a photograph.
Sorry to hurt your feelings.February 12, 2007 at 11:38 pm #538773Phoenix wrote:You are probably right. It’s hard to capture the essence of a painting in a photograph.
Sorry to hurt your feelings.didn’t hurt my feelings….
in the photo you can’t see the dark around the face….
too bright…but it’s exactly like the wolf on the calendar….down to the brown it weird spots….
just like the grey timber wolf…
February 12, 2007 at 11:44 pm #538774I like the color, and the way you did the fur. There is something about the face…tho. 😕

the angle…and the flash…
it looks funny to me now….
😯
February 13, 2007 at 4:39 am #538776star asked me to post a better pic of the face of this wolf…since it’s kind of funny looking to everyone…
I tried…but it’s come out fuzzy….and the wolf has already left for it’s new home….so we’ll have to live with a fuzzy face…..but I can say the new owner was very impressed….
February 13, 2007 at 5:41 am #538777Even though it’s blurry, I can see what you were saying… It must have been a weird angle.
I’m glad his new owner loved him.February 13, 2007 at 6:30 am #538778Ok, yes it was a weird angle. It does look better in that pic.
February 13, 2007 at 7:15 am #538779Pretty! It does look better in the second pic.
February 13, 2007 at 11:37 am #538780Yep! That’s a much better shot. I hope he got a good home.
February 14, 2007 at 4:50 am #538781he got a great home…..just wish that second pic wasn’t so fuzzy….but I can’t hold things and take pics…I wobble way too much….
I liked how that one turned out…very natural coloring….kind of glossy though…I think next one will get a matte sealer if I do natural colors
