Stratus turned out great! I really love the wings. The unicorn looks good and very real.

They are both pretty 🙂 I like the mane and tail on the uni; the antiquing and shading keeps it from looking flat.

This really isn’t a new project… I think I started it in… January? Yeah, I’m taking absolutely forever on it! 🙄 I keep going on to other things and coming back to it. But, I am planning on finishing it up before the end of summer. I really don’t want it to take a whole year to do ONE keeper. Sheesh. Anyways, its very monochromatic, blue with a little bit of cream (the photo is accurate in the light areas, its not supposed to be plain white). This is the only section that looks remotely close to what its supposed to. Have several places to repaint already.. and he has yet to be named…

thanks everyone! i am hoping to get more done on it soon… i’m ready to move on to some other ones. i like the arctic ice name! you’ve always got some great ideas for names, grayfire!

and yes, stellarwing, it is creepy without the eyes. i guess i just got so used to looking at it without them that it didnt even occur to me to put them in when i took the pic, lol!
