Okay, go easy on me… This is my very first pyo. 😳 And, its still in the very beginning stages! I’m not liking how the wings are turning out so far, so I might redo them, I don’t know.

oh and i took these pics with my iphone. too lazy to get out the SLR yet.

I like the wings too, especially the bigger feathers where the blue almost gives a ‘glowing’ effect. 🙂

Yeah, it’s almost an ethereal blue or icey shimmer. Very pretty and something I might try and add to whatever PYO I get… when I can get one XD

your color blending is great for a first time wolf! they aren’t always the easiest pieces to do. the wings are looking good to are you planing on doing any specific marking on them?

I love how the wings are looking 😉 . Very nice color choice for the wolf body and a good job so far on the blending. Very nice – can’t wait to see him done 😀 .

grayfire – not sure about markings yet. probably something subtle, but going to layer in some darker blues and turquoises.

looks like its going to be a busy week with work so i probably won’t get back to it until later in the week. 😥 dang, these things are fun to paint! i can’t get enough of it!

When we said Windstones are addicting, you hardly thought we meant PYO’s did you? 😉 XD
That wolf is wonderfully done so far, and I am not a fan of blue, but I do love the way they have an *ice* effect gong on there! I also love Huskies! 😳
