I’m sorry, I guess my idea wasn’t very good. 100 is a lot, but they sold out so fast. I’m just speaking from the sad point of view of someone who hasn’t been able to get even one yet. I will try for a larger batch this time. So what colors are everyone fighting over? I am not up-to-date on this.

I personally don’t think 100 is is a lot considering how fast they sell out! I vote for a larger batch as well. As far as colors go, I personally would love to see more blue eyed grays or a stunning silver! I also love the whole magic invisible paint! They are unicorns so having that extra glimmer that’s just visible in certain light makes them really cool! Solid black or blue black with contrasting eye color too! Oh, what about some with silver horns? Is that possible? Everyone likes something Differant though so some may really hate seeing blue eyed ones. I for one would love to have one! The Melody for trying to make everyone happy even though, sometimes, that’s a difficult thing to accomplish! No matter what though, having more of these GB uni’s in general seems to make most happy 🙂

I just wish people could be kinder and less foaming-at-the-mouth about these grab bags in general 🙁

I also like seeing the group shot before they go in the store for a couple of reasons – 1 is that once Melody posts it on her blog, you KNOW they’ll be in the store soon and you need to eye your email a little more carefully for a few days.

Secondly, because I like to see what the chances are of me getting one that I like. I don’t think that hiding the group photo is going to stop any of the scrambling for things in the store, and I doubt it would even stop people from posting “WTB” threads on the types of unis that they want. I know these batches are more fantasy than the last, but they are still anchored in realistic schemes, so you KNOW that there are going to be buckskins and palominos and greys.. People generally know what they like before even seeing pictures!

I dont know. I can see the point everyone’s trying to make about hiding the unis until the batch comes out, but do you really think that if Melody posts a picture of the unis a week after they’re released it will stop people from going crazy over certain ones, circling them, and making “WTB” threads? I don’t think so – if anything, it will just postpone that. *shrug* Just my 2 cents 🙂

I think Hannah is right, people are going to be crazy either way. A limit of 1 will probably help too.

I would LOVE to see more palomino appaloosas! They are gorgeous. Ones like Blaze and Tulip from the last batch. I also really like the really light buckskins like Compass and Cicada. And black blanket appaloosas too. I think those 3 are my top colour squeaks 🙂

So excited that there will be more youngs! 😀

Sadly whatever happens there will always be someone who is unhappy

Personally I like the idea of not showing the class photo. At least not right away, maybe wait a week or two and then post. Give people a chance to appreciate the unicorn they *did* get rather than lamenting that they didn’t get *The One* To me this is what grab bag is. You know you will be getting a baby unicorn it’s the color and pattern that are a surprise. After all, when you get a grab bag of goodies at a bazzaar or fair, you never know what might be in it either and that’s part of the fun!

WE ALL need to remind ourselves that the fact that Miss Melody *does* do these for us is amazing and wonderful of her and be grateful that she does listen to us rabid fans and tries to do something nice for us!

I like the class photo as well. I wasn’t able to get any of this last batch because I was at work both times. Maybe half of the next batch could be posted in the afternoon as usual and the others reserved for a morning posting so people who work nights (like myself) and people in other countries will have a better chance?

I think splitting the batch into two groups put up at different times on the same day is a good idea. It certainly would have helped me!

And I like the class photo too. It gives us the chance to work out a rough probability of what we might get, which is useful if a person is waffling about whether to buy, or how many to buy.

I don’t know if anyone else would be interested, but I’d love to see a group of babies in non-horse colors. Pinks, purples, blues…lol
