Yus! Bare feet! (Yeah, I know. I look at everything except what I’m supposed to…)
Beautiful paint job on the rooster, and extraordinarily kind of you to paint one for Amy. Bravo!
On another note, reading this thread has been great. Very informative about things I feel like I should have known but I really didn’t have a clue.
March 20, 2019 at 6:01 pm #1561652Did you learn some good chicken info, Ryl?

💕Big Warm Hugs!!March 20, 2019 at 8:26 pm #1561673Aw, are you stressing out? I’m sorry. I’d probably be stressed too though. I’m sure that took hours and hours and then to hear someone doesn’t like it would be enough to kill a person, lol.
No, it looks very good. The only thing I might say would be to make the black areas a bit larger on the neck? It looks kinda more white than black. On the actual chickens the white and black kinda make stripes, but if I’m interpreting what you did correctly, it looks like you did white at the top and black on the bottom for each feather, and it’s probably just that the feathers just don’t all line up on the sculpture itself. (That is a really painstaking technique, and I applaud you for taking the time and effort to do it). If I look closely at the one Jennifer did (pg 2 of the thread) I think she just painted lines over the feathers, regardless of where they actually ended/began. No offense to her or you of course. I might just not be able to see well enough on either picture. I really like what both of you guys did.
March 20, 2019 at 8:29 pm #1561674Thanks Suzanne-Marie. I’ll take all the hugs I can get.
And yes, the artists on this site are fantastic, and I am very grateful to be able to get such works of art. I’ve got a nice spot all picked out for them so I can see them from anywhere in my room.

March 21, 2019 at 7:11 am #1561708She is darker than she looks. This old camera is old.I will get you better shots soon as I can.The black one is impossible to photo. After about a dozen in different places this is the best you get for now.She has green and purple but the purple wants to be dominant in pics but the green is actually.

I bet she was a relief to paint after dealing with the first one 😉

Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.March 22, 2019 at 4:05 pm #1561850AHHHHH!!!! Look who just arrived! My sweet boy! Welcome home Tenderfoot! I want to hold him forever >.< Thank you so much Pipsxlch!!!! I LOVE HIM!!!! You did such a great job. Cameras don’t do him justice! He’s such a beautiful golden color. He practically glows! In the pictures it looks like the colors are kind of separated, but in real life everything blends together beautifully! Not to repeat myself, but…I LOVE HIM!!!! >.<
