I am a Dragon,can you hear my roar?
Though I really did exist,many say it is all just lore.
But if you watch very carefully and wholeheartedly believe
You may see me gliding through the mist on a warm Summer’s eve.
I live in the mountains or reside by old fountains.
I don’t kill or destroy nor do I plunder.I just long for the days I could go wander.
To be free to take flight on a whim or go for a long leisurely swim.
To sun on a warm sunny beach just out of everything’s reach,
Or play on a high mountain top steeped deep in snow.
The people would laugh to see such a show and scratch at their heads and say,”I didn’t know.”
The many years have grown long and now comes the end of my song.
I ask only this,This is my wish…
That you always believe in me so I can be here,high in the skies above, flying free.
