As I stated before- Would you tell me when this was? I have sold a grand total of TWO windstones FOUR TO FIVE years ago. This bad feedback was ONE year ago.
This was a spectral dragon sold in October/November so your claim that you have not sold any Windstones in the last 5 years is incorrect. I will not drag it up with out the buyers permission. If I have that, I would be glad to remind you of the situation and your unwillingness to work with the buyer. I can only tell you what you already know; Its the reason you are on the blacklist. Bad packing, then stating that the buyer should have purchased insurance when insurance was not offered in the auction.

No you didnt. What you said was:
tatt2dcowgrl wrote:Can I return them? I don’t know what to do I don’t know anything about insurance but I don’t have the packaging materials. I guess if I were shipping them I would have wrapped them in something like bubble wrap tightly and then put them in the smaller boxes… it just doesn’t seem safe the way they were packed.
Please feel free to share if you have other ideas- but I don’t know what to do other than return them. I can send them to kyrin to be fixed but I don’t think it’s fair for me to have to pay to fix them back to the condition they were supposed to be in.
You never asked for a partial refund.

I while back, I bought a pegasus stallion and the hatchling from someone on Ebay.
The box arrived and everything was perfect. Strong double walled box.
Inside the baby had been rattling against the stallion and both were damaged.
PO would not refund my money as they said the packager was at fault. The seller wouldn’t refund cause he said the PO was at fault. I was out my dollars and have two broken Windstones for my trouble.
Not saying this happened here, but more asking advice. What would have been the best way to get a refund>You could have asked for a partial refund so you could get the items repaired. A lot of the time a seller will agree to return some of the funds, versus the whole thing.
Myu seller with the Emp has made contact, seems they were away since Friday when I emailed them, and I am getting the impression they will work with me, since I am only asking for some of my money back.
As for your unicorns, if you still have them, I would be happy to work on them, we could do a trade or something if funds are an issue. I should put a note on my repair agreement stating that I will work for Windstones! LOL!
Kyrin
I tried for a partial refund for the amount it would cost to send to kyrin for doctoring.
Do you mean trade for the value of the work or trade for the unicorns?
The response I gave here was in answer to Phoenix’s questions about her previous issue, but it can relate to yours as well.
Trade for value of the work in this case.

March 31, 2008 at 9:34 pm #685138I’m coming in on all of this very late, but Ski has shipped things to me numerous times and I’ve never had a problem. Things do happen sometimes, but it’s how we react to these situations that makes all the difference. This matter should’ve been kept private and perhaps mediated by Jen. I see this as a juvenile attempt to embarrass Ski and damage her reputation as a seller. As you can see, it didn’t work.

October/November 2007?? Uh no. I have not sold for 4 years + and that was only two pieces ever- a sitting spectral and a rising spectral because I needed the cash. Those are the only two I have ever sold.
If you don’t want to bring up the person and if they can’t say so to me then they may as well not exist.

She was not doing anything and there was no resolution I have every right to state what happened. I had no idea about their being someone that mediates- all I know is I received broken goods and am out the money for them.
March 31, 2008 at 9:49 pm #685141It was October/November 2006.
March 31, 2008 at 9:51 pm #685142That would have been just about a year and a half ago- again I have not sold anything since I was 16 which would have now been five years ago. I don’t know if I’m being confused with someone else or what- but you can even check my e-bay feedback I have not sold any windstones except those two.

This is just me being curious- but how long did you wait for Ski to work things out with you?

My art: featherdust.comMarch 31, 2008 at 9:59 pm #685144Well, as Ski said, it’s up to the buyer if they want to come forward and give details or not. I wasn’t the buyer….

Well it was pretty much all over when she refused to do anything.. I didn’t wait any longer than that? I don’t figure there’s a point in waiting when someone says no.
March 31, 2008 at 10:01 pm #685146You know, at this point all you’re doing is dragging your *own* name through the mud, not Ski’s.
Were I you, I’d pick my battles with far more prudence then you’ve exercised in this particular instance.
March 31, 2008 at 10:29 pm #685147First of all I very much agree with what Rusti just said.
I purchased a Windstone from Ski on ebay and it arrived in excellent condition. It was well-packed and insured and shipped in a timely manner. I am sure she does this all the time.
You also state they were sent in their formed boxes and if that is the case that is the best way to ship them and there is no place for additional padding in the fitted boxes.

March 31, 2008 at 10:32 pm #685149Playing devil’s advocate here…
If this weren’t Ski (and I love Ski), but I can totally understand both sides here.
It’s really not that different from my purchase where the pegasi got damaged. Except in my case it was really bad packaging.
While’s Ski’s packaging was really good, it sounds as if the outside packaging or the inside packaging wasn’t really damaged. Which tells me the PO wouldn’t have honored the insurance anyway. They told me the box was good so it was the packaging inside that was lacking.I would suggest that Ski send another box (empty) to Tat and then Tat can claim the insurance? Would something like that work?
