I finally got my poad since we didn’t get mail for the holiday yesterday. I am just taking pictures now.
Congrats. She’s super cute; too bad she wasn’t what you were looking for .
I hope that means mine will be coming soon. I live in Edmonton, and if I recall correctly you are from Calgary.
* Crosses fingers *May 22, 2013 at 7:52 pm #897699Finally, the gang’s all here! I actually got my poad and another through a trade a few days ago, but I was waiting until my mother’s poad arrived to post pictures, since she doesn’t post on the forum.
Here’s a shot of the “clutter”. I keep wanting to call a group of poads a “poadité”. 😛
Here’s my poad, a burnt orange autumn leaf. I love her bright orange beak. She will probably be up for trade.
This next poad I got in a trade, with gorgeous creamy gold and bronze tones. This one is definitely staying with me.
My mother got an absolute knockout poad. The gold on its butt reminds me of a rottweiler.
Hannah, feel free to use these photos for the directory.
May 22, 2013 at 11:43 pm #897705Ooh Congrats on the great pulls Bullsquid!! That creamy Poad is stunning, and definitely my favorite of the three 🙂 Surprisingly, although the Poad that your mom got was on my list of favorites (and I’d been hoping someone would post pics of her!! XD), she’s just not doing it for me as much as she was in the class/deviant art photos! So weird. I’ve been seeing that happen for me a lot this batch! I guess it just goes to show just how hard it is to tell anything from the class photos! XD

Not really my thing but she is gorgeous none the less.

I had to add the last picture despite the poor focus because I just love the sunset orange splash across the top of the beak. I’ll post pictures of mine as soon as it gets here.
May 23, 2013 at 5:24 am #897721Ooo! Now that’s my kind of thing! 😀 I love sepia or earth toned poads, just gorgeous!

and dandrusky13, your bros Poad is also amazing!! I haven’t been too crazy about the curly leafy ones, but that one is a stunner!

And I paid my brother for the poad he ordered, so she’ll be joining my collection. Here’s a better picture of the winterberry from the back, beside her new sister.
And an extra for fun.
I think these two will be staying with me, at least for the foreseeable future.
