We had Canada Day yesterday – July 1. A day of BBQ and lounging in the sun for me. Though there are events and stuff all around the city and there was a great fireworks display downtown that I got to watch through my kitchen window (though it scared the dog into trying to hide under my bed)

I’ll be going to a friend’s house for a lunchtime BBQ…and will be at the 11AM Windstone Anniversary Celebration! If I’m back from the BBQ in time, I’ll be at the 5PM celebration too! 😀

I opted to work (I’ll get the holiday off at another date of my choosing *hehe*), but since the site is closed, I get to work from home. Saves me two hours in commuting that day :] Hopefully, with all other sites also closed (except maybe a site or two overseas at that hour), it will be pretty quiet anyways *fingers crossed*

I should be at the 11am Windstone celebration. In the evening we’re going to the beach to watch fireworks. 😀

I should be on for the Windstone anniversary, and otherwise I’ll be seeing the fireworks somewhere with my friend and her family in the Hudson, MI area.

I live on a cul de sac with ten houses and all the neighbors get together around the center planter and have a bbq and potluck but I’ll go back in the house for the Windstone Anniversary.

I’m gonna be here, I just got back from doing a wedding cake and anniversary cake, both three tiers plus the groom’s cake….I’m exhausted and happy to be going nowhere else for the rest of the week! 😀

I am probably going to have a b-bque at my house. Everyone is invited, but you have to bring a dish.. 😉 And then I will probably try to be here for the party.
