Wow! That Oil Spot Male Dragon is gorgeous! I really wish I was in a position to buy but car insurance + rent + vacation all in the space of five days knocks me out lower than I imagine he’ll go for!

What a tasteless and classless thing to say. Congrats on your win. If I hadn’t had travel and car insurance I would have put around $375 on him as that seems about his worth to me. He’s a gorgeous piece and I would have loved to have him.
I don’t usually engage with people who are obviously trying to stir things up, but name-calling and veiled threats are not appropriate behavior for this or any forum.

DRAGONS: Male CoyoteIf I had money I probably would have paid about what the griffin sold for too. That could have easily been sniped for more so you are lucky you got it with an early bid. I have come to learn that a lot of last minute minute bidders are from the forum and they probably would only bid at the end if they really wanted the item. Congrats though! I only have one old tan male griffin but may try and get a blue morpho one or special one at some point.

I don’t really think that’s what Werepanther is doing. It sounds just like a somewhat miffed rant (personally I don’t think there’s much cause for it, either, as I think that getting that gorgeous griffin for the price she did is quite a steal) .
Also I wouldn’t have put it into terms like tasteless and classless; but, if this were an actual complaint, it would certainly be presumptuous. One never knows what’s going on in another person’s mind let alone their methods and strategies for bidding (there _are_ people that are juvenile and will ante up just to cause trouble but people like that are few and far between).
That said, I do agree with that there is a time and place for speculative rants and that such things are best left out of forums, with exception to specific boards or topics which are specifically meant for those topics (like our lovely “whine is served” board). Obviously, threats and slander shouldn’t be tolerated, either; however, as I said, I don’t see that at all in Werepanther’s post.
