This is Catalina 😀 i just recently finished him. The photos do no justice at all. It seems my camera only wanted to see one shade of blue when there are about 5. Anyways i have this one up on ebay here. I’m trying to fix my transmission without breaking the bank which is hard when it comes to transmissions.

the tranny will be fine the mechanic is rather happy to work with it since it’s an original 1974 😀I love Brambles! The colors against the black work so well, they pop! I think Catalina is great. I like how you added the gold on the tips of the scales off setting the blues. Nicely done! Good luck on your sale.
I started on this one last night and have been working on him today :D. The idea i had for this one was to revamp my antique rose scheme while also pulling from the colors you usually see in the advertisements from 1875-1915. You know the ones that are really elegant and usually have women advertising some cooking product or liquor? I’m pretty happy with the way he’s going :D. after i finish smoothing the blending and color placement i’ll start adding interference :D.

I just got him finished up today! 😀 In the end the colors really remind me of fall not in the trees changing sense but in the finale harvest sense. Dusty sunsets, golden fields, apple pies and black berry pies, and spending time with family and friends. The only things this little one is missing is the smells it seems 😀

You know I kinda just go into painting blind when I’m just trying to do something new…though it doesn’t always work out well that way.OMG Grayfire, I LOVE him!! Those colors look fantastic together 😀
