I painted her for my swap partner bodine :3. Her request had been basically “fallow your artistic intuition” so I decided that I wanted to do a prototype and make it something that I have never done before. I hope you all like her

Here are my latest two dragons :3 both are commissioned pieces for Juliacaron24 The first one is my version of a lightning dragon :3 I based his coloring off this photo http://www.flickr.com/photos/j3masaurus/5872747651/sizes/l/in/photostream/ I finished him off with some magic sparkle paint that my camera didn’t want to see.
The second is an English barn swallow theme :3 I’m really happy with how they both came out

I really like the blending of the blues on the english barn swallow. I think i’m falling for the blue dragons I’ve been seeing lately. I might have to try painting one blue at some point, lol. Congrats, Juliacaron24 for your lovely new dragons. Very nice job Grayfire! This is my latest little dragon. I had this idea of mimicking this tropical fish coloring that I like though I can’t seem to remember what it’s called right now. The stone in tale and forehead are both real
the forehead is a sapphire and tail is a citrine :D. I also used a dusting of magic sparkle paint to give a little extra sparkle. This little one is quite stunning :D.

Your latest one reminds me of looking at a rainbow in the sky – they’re always misty and faded – so pretty!And looking back.. I looove the colors on your Lightning dragon!! They are spot on for my tastes
