Ah yes, looks like I got some layers in the wrong order when I flattened this image, some outlines around the poads in the first panel have vanished. This is normal. I usually fool around fixing things on a page for a week or two after I post it!
* edit* fixed the poad outlines. If they still look funny, click “refresh”.
Ah! I want that bouncy egg!!!!
So cute!!! 😀
Awww, way too fun! 🙂
Love the book too–does that make it easier for her to turn the pages?
Podge is the cutest baby poad of them all!!! Her expression says “I am PODGE! You shall love and worship me! For I am cute and fluffles.”
It’s soooooo chute (cute), I want one.
Someplace I believe you said that Kade’s poad is just old enough to do healing work. (I tried to find this, but couldn’t).
Kade looks about 14 in these panels. If Podge hatched when he was 14, and she is only now old enough to heal people, how long to poads take to grow up?
Edit – found it! It is in the “Poad eggs” thread:
Kade’s poad is just barely old enough to begin working in the field, but she and Kade have trained together as a team in various simulations of field emergencies, so she has learned to do some minor surgery… so far she has learned to remove splinters. This is not a small job if you are stationed in a part of the wilderness that is full of prickers – ones that can be a large as toothpicks.
She is also an exceptionally good surgical assistant, and is well drilled on all the instruments and procedures that a Veligent employs.
Poads mature at about the same rate people do. Podge would be a teenager when she begins her professional career with Kade. Kade is just 12 here.
Well, turning pages may not be too easy for anyone. They tend to squirm around. This is what most Reptanglian textbooks look like. You can’t see it, but this is really a BIG book… it continues on for several feet to the right.
Oh it’s a tadpoad! So cute!
Is Kade missing his glasses in some of the panels?
He only wears them when he needs to see veige things.
