I love how Podge, in the first panel we see her clearly, has her feathers all ruffled and mad! Boy, is she ticked off …. And Serence, whatever lunacy he’s been clouded by lately, gets shocked right back to normal for a bit. It would appear Poads are highly therapeutic by nature. 🙂
I think, though, in the fifth panel, that the second “it’s” is supposed to be an “its”? I was taught that if you can break the “it’s” apart into “it is” or “it has” and the sentence makes sense, then there should be an apostrophe. Otherwise, not!
So that way the sentence would read: “It has something in it [has/is] mouth!”
-which means the second one probably shouldn’t have an apostrophe, I think?
Either way, thank you so much for this wonderfully imaginative story! 🙂
“Reads” are long, ribbon-like plants that can be written on with the stiff, detachable spine that forms along one end. When you roll them up like a scroll, they do resemble a reed.
I’ll add the missing apostrophes when I get a chance! I’ll get them right eventually . There’s still one missing.
Yay, more Podge!
(Though is the soldier stubbornly referring to her as ‘it’ really that ignorant of Poads?)
Poadspeak is just… so cute!

You’re right! When I fixed this page I just went through and added ’em everywhere.
Awww! Post-aspload poad is so fluffles and cute! Note of thankies from the demon?
I like “post-asplode-poad”.
That’s the way a chicken looks while taking a dust bath.
Podge is the BEST!
Dang puns.
Yeah, I guess it is a pun.

“The one who saved my life?”
Yeah, Podge saved his life when this happened: http://windstoneeditions.com/veligent-page-59
