  1. I think the king just realized that his brother is not the useless idiot he thought he was, and that just perhaps he just might be wiser and more deserving of respect than he has been giving him. Rude awakening indeed. Kade may seem like a goof, but I have always thought it was simply an act. It’s more fun to seem ineffectual, but it doesn’t mean he is. Having people underestimate you, can be a distinct advantage. Also, since our friend is coming back, they are going to learn just how much kindest and respect can change things.

  2. Thank you for a delightful laugh this Monday morning. I needed one.
The ‘collection’ of guards ‘just happening’ to be listening outside the King’s door is priceless.

I have a funny feeling that Kade and the Hob are going to end up being friends.
In fact, and this may just be my imagination, somehow Kade and the Hob reminds me
a bit of ‘Calvin and Hobbes’. Like I say, though, it may just be my imagination.
And I don’t think Kade is going to be doing “Spaceman Spiff” anytime soon.

  3. Love the eavesdroppers!

Though it does seem odd for Serence to be so upset about the prisoner escaping while at the same time believing he could ‘easily’ free himself. Makes me wonder…

And now for another two-week wait!

  4. Probably because the contractions (must’ve, could’ve, would’ve, should’ve, might’ve) are pronounced like “must of”, “could of”, “would of”, “should of”, “might of” … My nephew does the same thing.
