What an interesting pose for the sloats to take! With cows in our world it would be a defensive pose to circle like that… but not usually around a tree. Are the sloats sheltering from the storm? Or is that blue sparkly bolt on the right actually landing without effect on some of them? Or does their, um, poop fertilize the tree, perhaps? 😀
Oh! They crushed all the growing things… and now they’re encouraging new growth, perhaps? That’d be an intriguing element of the Reptanglian cycle of life, if so?
