Hey – Just a random inquiry… over the Holidays we were having dinner at my sister’s and I never knew she preferred Hot Tea over Coffee – Who Knew?!
I come from a family of predominantly Coffee drinkers, so I never really thought of it. Of course, I love Iced Tea, but Hot Tea dries my mouth, so Coffee for me!
What do You like better?
Coffee? Hot Tea? Something else?
Any flavors you especially Love? I Love Raspberry Chocolate flavored Coffee! Yum! :love:

*** Come visit me on deviantArt at http://ela-hara.deviantart.comI prefer tea to coffee because coffee leaves a nasty aftertaste in my mouth (I also don’t like coffee without creamer, I can drink tea straight). However, I drink coffee in the morning because it’s quicker to make than tea. Gum thankfully takes care of the aftertaste.

Finding happiness again.
I’m coffee in the morning and tea in the evening. not fond of iced tea normally, unless it’s flavored with peach, raspberry or mint. I’m known to sneak a spoonful of powdered hot cocoa mix into my morning coffee too.
I was never really a coffee/tea drinker until 6 years ago, when I needed the caffeine to get through 17 and 24 hour shifts. When I drank coffee, I needed to put loads of creamer and sugar substitute to make it palatable. Tea only tasted like dirt to me but I considered it the “healthy” choice, so mixed that inbetween. But my primary caffeine source was soda. Lots and lots of diet soda. Three years ago I switched to caffeine pills for getting “energy”, and only drink regular or carbonated water now. I still miss diet soda sometimes, but never miss the coffee or tea. 😀 I think it’s an acquired taste, and I just never acquired it.
Hot unsweetened black tea – morning, noon, and night, every day. 🙂 I’ll drink coffee if it has cream (no sugar) but only when I’m not at home and tea isn’t an option.
When I’m at home I drink milk with meals.
I just can’t seem to like coffee….
I will drink tea at night but it has to be yummy…mediciney tastes or smells are no good….

I use a lot of sugar and creamer whereas you could pave the street with her coffee it’s so black. I like the ice and frozen coffees over hot. I use a lot sugar my children say because I’m not sweet enough. I should just buy caffeine pills. I also love sweet tea which is bad for your teeth amongst other things….but some days I just have to have some. At night I will sometimes drink tea, my favorite being Bengal spice with honey and milk. Hot chocolate I also drink sometimes. So I am a drinker of all three 🙂

Both! I used to hate coffee until I cut most sugars out of my diet, and then I developed a real taste for bitter flavors (coffee, >80% dark chocolate, etc).
Because coffee plantations are so environmentally harmful, I try to stem this by not drinking coffee daily, and buying “bird friendly” shade or canopy grown coffee.
As for tea, I am a huge lover of loose leaf teas, and am especially fond of jasmine pearls, and milk oolong. I also try to buy teas that are grown in smaller plantations and imported directly under fair trade by my tea merchants.

Coffee just tastes muddy 5o me. I’ve only found one blend I could drink, but I had to add flavored creamer to even drink it.
I wouldn’t mind hot tea, but I can’t seem to brew it right so all I ever taste is “hot leaf juice” to quote Zuko from Avatar: The Last Airbender. My husband has better luck brewing teas, but even then it can be hit or miss.
I’m one of those strange people that don’t like hot drinks. All I really drink is water and unsweetened iced tea. I can’t stand coffee (the smell is fine but I can’t stand the taste). I like teas of all sorts but don’t really like them warm. The only warm drink I don’t mind is hot chocolate on a really cold day when I’m outside, lol.
