The Grab Bag Mini Keeper Dragons are going into the store today at about 7 p.m. PST. Please do not refresh a zillion times before 7 o’clock or the site will run so slowly I won’t be able to put them in! They are $175 each. We are being brave and offering this large batch of grab bags at 2 per customer. Melody promises we will make a lot more of them – so if you miss these – THERE WILL BE MORE.
March 19, 2014 at 1:06 am #909983Question? Are these painted and signed by Melody or Brandi? Just curious who painted all of them and will they have Melodys signature on felt pads

They were painted by a combination of both and Melody has signed them.

March 19, 2014 at 1:17 am #909990This grab bag edition of Mini Keeper dragons were a collaboration between Brandi and Melody – Brandi did mostly the background coloring, choosing the color theme of each little guy, and Melody mostly added details (but they both did a little of everything). This is probably the way they will paint the next batch as well. Melody has signed them.
March 19, 2014 at 1:21 am #909992The ones saw pics of had Melody’s signature.
Hmm, hoped for less, but about where I expected. I thought Kiya was right about the greater saleability of dragons vs. poads and unis.
I wonder if what was briefly touched on in another post- that there may be a batch in production colors- is true? Might be tempting to wait for one of those.March 19, 2014 at 1:23 am #909993I don’t _think_ they plan on doing the mini-keepers in production colors. I _think_ that’s the hoarder/name TBD.
Good question for the ask Melody thread though! I don’t think she checks these store ones.
March 19, 2014 at 1:27 am #909994One or two… oh gosh, decisions!
March 19, 2014 at 1:32 am #909995I will do so. I’m a color collector, and afraid of getting one I really won’t like (so many pastel ones…) and won’t be able to trade or sell at my cost. Though my family is eager to see the dragon, so I suppose I will get one. I don’t have enough for two.
Question- it’s been so long since I bought something, and I can’t find the store sign in. Is it changed now so we’re signed in both places when we’re signed in here?
March 19, 2014 at 1:34 am #909996I’m anxious about the color i’ll get too…I’ll probably only ever be able to afford one of these [and my husband prefers me to only have one of each sculpt] so I hope if i end up with a color I’m not fond of, I can trade for one I am >.> but I’ll take the risk =3 these fellows are too cute to pass up
March 19, 2014 at 1:47 am #910002Almost the same here. From the photos, this sculpt bids fair to become one of my favorites- so cute! But I can’t really afford to expand my collection, so I imposed a rule on myself of only 1 per sculpt. Helps with the envy when you read of the collections that went from 2 to 200 in a couple years, when I’ve been collecting for 30 years, and only have 20. Sort of a sour grapes I know, but it works helping me be content with what I’ve got. So the idea of ‘foreign’ colors is kind of freaking out my OCD tendencies!
March 19, 2014 at 1:51 am #910004wow 300 users on right now…sure 200+ is enough dragons?
March 19, 2014 at 1:59 am #910006We’ll make more!
March 19, 2014 at 2:00 am #910007pipsxich – You don’t have to sign into the store separately any more – if you are logged into the site – you are logged into the store too.
March 19, 2014 at 2:12 am #910009Got mine ^.^ *fingers crossed for a favorite right off the bat* trading scares me >.> so let’s hope I don’t have to =D
