I know I’ve seen posts for this while back, but couldn’t find the thread. Does anyone know if Windstone will sell empty boxes with the inserts for specific pieces? I’m looking for an emperor dragon box, if anyone wants to sell or loan me one 🙂

Last I heard is that sadly, no, Windstone cannot sell the boxes/inserts on their own. I don’t know if this has changed or not. You might need to ask Melody.

No, they don’t. (I asked Susie about a month ago when I bought some stuff from the store.) And I can’t blame them, just imagine how many requests they would get from people who buy used pieces on ebay.

On the other hand, I wonder if it’s OK to buy empty boxes from forum members who don’t keep them. I know I would like to get a Mother Dragon box, a Male Dragon box, and a Small Wizard box.

A friend of mine got one here by asking . I sold her my emperor and his box was gone . She posted wanting one saying she would pay the postage for it . I admit it was the strangest thing I ever got in the mail . An empty box with only the packing in it .
Can’t help but wonder what the UPS guy thought of it .

I ordered an emperor; if you can wait, you can have the box once I get it…

I asked a while back for boxes and the answer was no, sadly. And no one was willing to lend a box, so I had to pass on the piece.

As long as they are returned, I am happy to loan out boxes I have for pieces to be shipped. I can loan male dragon, mother dragon, OW, pyo phoenix, pyo keeper, pyo dragon, curlie, and unicorn baby.

This is totally okay, and many of our customers have sold, given, and lent each other boxes!

A couple of years ago I won an old green emperor on eBay and the seller didn’t have the box (back then I think they were styrofoam) so I sent her one of my emperor boxes. Can you believe it cost $12 just to send an empty box? I felt it was worth it to have the dragon arrive in one piece.

Thanks for letting me know Jennifer! I will ask for some when I have more funds. I know shipping empty boxes to Canada can be expensive.
