Since I seem to have some “free” time on my hands at the moment, 😳 and I’m parked next to the Christmas tree, I was thinking….Have there ever been Windstone Christmas ornaments? My husband buys me the Breyer Porcelain Horse breeds if he thinks they look like Arabians, and that’s what got me thinking. 😀 My thought was would it be possible to make miniature versions of the different sculptures, or are they far too detailed to size down? I think the Sugarplum Poads would make awesome tree ornaments if they were a bit smaller! Once the Dragon Pox in casting has been banished for good, that is. 😉 Can’t you just see them peering out from the tree branches? Or maybe a smaller version of…I don’t know…an Emperor or Royal Hatchling perched on a branch?
Ya know, I like this idea! They don’t have to be made out of gypsum–but a small version of the scuplts they have now. Yeah I could see it–they make ornaments for various breeds of dogs–I have some and theyre awesome! Would totally go for a Windstone ornament–could also give them as gifts. 😀
Great idea but how about glass ornaments with Windstone pictures on them? It would be cheaper and easier and I would buy a dozen.Cafe’Press could do them maybe if you don’t have the time? 😀
I have a poad ornament and it’s still available at CafePress. I think it’s the only ornament offered, right? Some new ones would be cool. 8)

It is cute with the little Poads.Can you come up with a whole selection?There are so many beautiful pieces out there.I’m getting great ideas for stocking stuffers next Christmas.How about a Valentine test market? 😀

I love the violet, teal and gold one that is gnawing on the pizza! But, she stopped making the colors from around the pizza. 🙁

I have some of everything, so it’s “Whatever tickles my fancy” time. 😉 Or make up for time for retireds. 😳
I actually don’t have any Poads….yet. 😳 I”ve got mostly dragons and a couple of griffins. And a few PYO Ki-Rin. But I liked the sugarplum Poads, and thought I’d toss the idea out there for the ornaments. I don’t know if I would like to see like small dragons with Santa hats, but maybe a small keeper holding a sprig of holly? The Poads might be real cute with little Santa hats, though. 😀

Oh yeah, we thought about it YEARS ago, but we don’t have any material to cast them out of that would be light and strong enough. Gypsum is too heavy and fragile and pewter is too heavy. Pictures in glass would be do-able. I’ve been trying to find a way to do that as jewelry too.
I have a fuzzy ornament! It’s a fuzzy stuck into a clear glass ornament.
