What's Your Technique…

I keep seperate tabs going–on with the oriental dragon page, one with the store front page, one with LJ, Windstone Twitter, etc. Refreshing each at random. I’ve just been checking the count on ‘Back in Stock’ at the bottom of the store page, to see if the number changes…

And try to have dinner, answer e-mails, feed the cats–all in short bursts! 😆

and I refresh them probably obsessively, until I’m distracted (hmm…where’d I put hair tie?) and

and then I remember like 10 minutes later after getting distracted by a bunch of random things

“OH copious amounts of poo THE STORE”

and I go back to refreshing each page

Until the next time I get out of my chair for one thing or another and forget all over again 😀

That’s what happens to me AT WORK! Get a phone call or my boss or somebody asks a question, and then 20 minutes later–oh CRAP–the Windstone Store!! 😆

I hawk the forum just to read the conversation and lend some S’mores. The only thing I was tempted to buy was the Flap Cat with the Sunset wings.

Yes, that is true. That has happened more than once. :shout:

It’s hit and miss with me. Sometimes someone says something on the forums that makes me run to the store. Usually missing them by mere seconds, or catching the last one! And sometimes I just get lucky. 🙂 I haven’t had the cart empty thing happen, but I haven’t really chanced it on anything other than PYO’s that have many instock. 😀
I certainly didn’t chance it with the Amethyst Young Oriental a few moments ago…Scott even offered to paypal it for me, and I was like…”No time! No time!” 😳 (Maybe I will get lucky and he will give me the monies for the MO. 😀 )
