He’s my problem. I had two pyo wolves that I sold on ebay last Thursday evening. They both sold to two different sellers. One paid the other did’nt. My description clearly states that I expect payment within 3 days after the end of the sale. I wrote the non-paying buyer a remider yesterday morning, but still have gotten no response. I sent them the invoice right after the sale, as well. Techniquely, Sunday night was the dead-line, but I know some people have lives and do stuff on the weekends πŸ˜† – so I’m willing to give the buyer till Tueday night to pay. That would give them three buisness days. It just bothers me I haven’t gotten a singal response from them  . What should I do? I never had a non-paying buyer. I’m just looking for some advice from the more experienced.

If the buyer hasn’t paid by a deadline I have set, then I’ll send them a friendly reminder the next day. If still nothing by that evening, then I’ll usually give them another 2 or 3 days. If still nothing.. then I’ll send another reminder, and indicate that the item will be relisted if they do not contact me. If a week or more goes by with no contact from the buyer, then I would take it to the next level. I’ve never had to go that far though. At least not yet! All the ones I’ve dealt with that did not pay right away, eventually did a few days after the deadline. In those cases, the person was delayed usually due to being out of town or sick. One time, the person said he didn’t even know he won!

Good luck with your buyer. I hope it works out okay, and they pay for the wolf.

I had my 1st non payer bidder the other day. After three emails, and waiting over a week with no response, I filed as a non-paying bidder. The first step just let’s you file and see what the bidder does before appyling the strike to the bidder. The bidder paid the very next day. I’d say send one more email and then file.

I also had that happen once. Ebay told me to wait seven days, I did, and then I filed a non paying dispute or whatever they’re called. That was enough to get their attention and they paid within a day of me filing the dispute. Hope everything works out.

Cool – I just got an e-mail from the buyer. They are waiting for thier paycheck to clear and then they’ll pay me tomorrow – or so they say. Hopefully that will come to pass. Their feedback score was 100 and all they had were positive descriptions, so I’m pretty sure they will pay, but I’m still going to be cautiously optimistic πŸ˜‰ . Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. It’s going to help me if I have this issue again.

Glad to hear you got an email. =) When I sold my curlies, I didn’t specify a ‘pay by’ date, I just let ebay do it’s normal ‘pay in 7 days or else’ thing. One person waited until the very last minute to pay! XD I guess some people just like to procrastinate…or maybe they bid knowing that although they don’t have the $ at the moment, they will before the deadline is up?

I like to give the buyer a chance, but only if they contact me. Since you got an email from them, I’d wait but if they still don’t pay you by the day they said they would… I dunno…
I normally give 7 days to pay when I put up a pyo… but have never had to wait that long.

I like to give the buyer a chance to. I realize things come up, so I’m not against people paying me a little after the deadline. As long as I can get an explanation – that’s all I needed, and in this case and I finally got one. So I’m happy.

Well, the buyer did end up paying πŸ™‚ . From what I understand, they are going through a lot of stuff right now. I can understand, and be sympathetic, but I’m still glad they ended up paying. Pretty Leafwing will be on her way to her new home tomorrow.
