Anybody else gonna screw up their sleep schedule and go find a dark spot after midnight to watch?
I think I will. I might even try to make my camera take pictures.
The meteor shower is going to be at its most active from about 9pm until dawn, with a peak at about midnight.

That’s all timezones from my understanding. I’m just upset because it’s impossible to escape the light pollution in the city, making stargazing near impossible.
The peak was last night/this morning, but if you go out tonight after the moon sets you’ll probably still see a few.
We were fully clouded over last night. 🙁 Darn. I had been looking forward to this one for the last two months.

October, if I recall correctly. The Orionid meteor shower. Not quite as bright and active as the Perseids, but it’s still a beautiful one to watch if the weather’s cooperating.
I remember watching them last year. It was neat!!!
Last night we were overcast too so we couldn’t see anything either.
I always try to catch this one, rather than the ones in Winter… the ones in Winter tend to leave me with frostbite. 😉
