Repaint or no, I really like the color scheme on this dragon..
That is kinda weird.
According to the listing – The dealer who sold this dragon to the seller also had some yellow and baby blue colored dragons? I’m curious how they looked. 😕I know this came up at one point- I just can’t seem to find the thread!! I’ve gotta ask Melody. Something about a collector, or store, that re-painted a bunch of dragons red, as there were a ton of requests for them. I am pretty sure that they were not factory painted… I seem to remember Melody saying they were repaints. I gotta ask because my memory is fuzzy.

I seem to remember calling the factory several years ago about something… and whoever I talked to was telling me about people calling and asking about red dragons and telling them there was a store that had red dragons… and asked if my store here (when we had one that sold them) had any of the mystery red dragons…
because they hadn’t painted any… (this before ruby came out)..

Something like that, yes! I can’t quite remember what happened. Something like someone bought a bunch and painted them red themselves, because so many people were asking about red dragons, or something….

I think it was unknown who repainted them.
