So, over the past 3 days, there have been 4 of these guys come to visit me! Now here’s a bug I like!
This guy was more than happy to pose for the camera, the other ones were a little smaller.
Also, when I was inspecting my vegatable garden at my parent’s house…I found these!!
Apparently the bunnies who nosh on my gardens had baby bunnies!!! in the most unusual place, under the roots of my zucchini plant! Isn’t that an odd place for a warren? in a fenced in garden no less. There are six little bun-lets in there, and they’re very cute. I’ll allow mamma bunny to keep them in my garden…but they better not eat my tomatoes!!Aaargh! The banes of my garden, rabbits! Chances are, they will eat your tomatoes…

Praying mantis’s mean good fortune in a garden! i read somewhere that they are dwindling in numbers, so its awesome that you’ve found some!
And those bunnies are absolutely adorable! 😀

Wow! You NEVER see mantis around here! I saw one once a LONG time ago (like at LEAST 10 years ago) and we kept it as a pet for about a month and fed it crickets until we set it free. and BUNNIES!!! I’ve never seen baby bunnies in the wild… unfortunately the only time I see bunnies are squished in the road 😥
I DID see a deer for the very first time while driving to work last week. At first I was like “Wow, that’s a big dog…HOLY CRAP IT’S A DEER!!!” 😯 It was SO AMAZING!!!
I hate living in the city sometimes. I’d much prefer a more tranquil area. I’d take the lulls of chirping crickets to the ambulance sirens and car alarms any night!

Of course, that may be because the local bunny population replaced the local skunk population. ^_~

WOW!!! Talk about coincidence, cause I found a little one of those guys on the hood of may car the other day. I saw a bug on the hood when I got into it to drive over to the car wash stall at my apartments. When I got ready to hose her off, I noticed the bug still there. Got closer and found it to be a tiny mantis. I had him crawl on my finger and put him in a nearby bush. Those bugs must be attracted to my car for some reason, cause I found anouther one on the hood about 2 years earlier when getting ready to drive to work one morning. That one was much bigger though. I just think it’s the greatest thing when I see them.
😯 Wow – they are gorgeous! I had no idea they came in so many different colors, etc. The claws in the air one looks like an orchid. Thanks for posting them.

Wahlbergii looks like he could be poisonous, with all those colors and extra stuff going on. 😆
