*delurks*
I’ve been hanging around a wee while, and recently decided to delurk. Pardon the photos – I’m not a great photographer, and the light wasn’t brilliant either.
Dragons! The black base dragon (click for details) was my first. I had heaps of fun painting him, and realising just how much I had to learn! And by then I was hooked. (I also learned that metallic paints cover a multitude of sins. We like metallic paints.)
The green and gold is my most recent dragon. I started experimenting with shading. I’d intended a blue dragon, with a few green highlights… and then somehow this happened instead. Not quite sure how! But I’m pleased with her. I couldn’t find a jewel I liked for the tail curl, so I did this instead:
Even managed to balance it on the curl without glue or blutack. NO idea how I pulled that one off!
And then muses!
The chap in the middle was my first. He introduced me to feathers, which I do believe I detest painting, but oh he was so much fun. The three of them live side-by-side – they share a chain passing through sleepers hung through their nose rings, and hold little trinkets and photos for me. I love them!
(Click for details: Blue/green muse
Copper/crimson muse
Lavender/green muse)
(edit: I fail at links. Fixed for muse links!)April 11, 2008 at 7:55 am #495026April 11, 2008 at 8:29 am #688821the three muses holding a shared chain with baubles is a super cute idea 🙂
They’re all very pretty! I love the muses though.

April 11, 2008 at 6:11 pm #688827*chuckles* I don’t think I’ll be selling any – I’m from New Zealand, and the shipping costs might be a wee bit prohibitive.
April 11, 2008 at 7:14 pm #688828They are all very pretty:)
April 11, 2008 at 8:27 pm #688829Eek! New Zealand! That’s a long way away. How did you hear about the forum? (just curious).
April 11, 2008 at 8:31 pm #688830*raises hand* I told her about it. Windstones are contagious, and I think I spread the addiction. 😀
April 11, 2008 at 9:10 pm #688831That darker dragon is fabulous!
I think you should think about selling anyway! I don’t think people would mind the higher shipping that much as long as the packaging holds up.
Great work!April 11, 2008 at 9:17 pm #688832I like all the muse…they are cool..

Good for you! Thanks, SPark! It’s nice to have forum members from different parts of the globe.
