I just finished this for the person that bought me my wonderful Ruby Lap dragon. He mentioned that he rarely sees any Grumpy Old dragons drawn..so I decided to take a stab and try one for him.

he reminds me of those gummy candies I haven’t seen made in a Very Long Time that were all different colors in one…

You mean the drip-wax candles or whatever they’re called? The ones made out of melted remainders of other colored candles? Those are cool.

I remember those.. were they called Slurps or something? They came in weird shapes, like bugs.

Nambroth: ouch, that one name stings. very long painful story there.
Actually many other artists have a greater influence on me. Some are well known, some are not..but they carry simmiler things in their style that influence mine.

Nirvanacat13: I actually wanted to try at an Abolone Shell type coloring, but I could not get the colors settled in a pleasing way. The colors ended up too overpowering, so i decided to do rainbow instead.

I am going to try agian soon, see if i can get out an abolone coloring that looks good.
