After today’s experience(2 very damaged dragons arrived) I’m wondering, for future items that I ship out.

Does windstone sell “blank” boxes? Like, could I buy a mama dragon box? Just curious. I’m very paranoid now about shipping out anything.

This question has been asked by drag0n I beleive. I have shipped out damaged peices before. What I did is put the bigger peices where they go, put masking tape over it. I made sure that it was stable enough to put it in bubble wrap. I took the smaller peices and put those in a baggie, but also made sure that they wouldnt get more broken. Then I took them and put them in a box with peanuts and then put that box in another box with peanuts. The person receiving it said it arrived fine.

Yes, that’s how I got my brown mama and she was prefect. I wasn’t suggesting to eliminate double boxing, just looking for boxes for the couple ones that don’t ahve them.

Sorry, didn’t know it had already been asked 🙄

She said probably not, because having boxes for sale would make it too easy for fakers. They could put fakes in real boxes.

Personally I think the solution to that is to sell boxes one at a time, and ship them one at a time too, no combining. That way they’d bee too expensive to be economical for fakers, (who would need hundreds) but still within the price range of those of us who just need one or two.

Yea, I wonder if she could do it just for forum members someday? I think I need a scratcher box, a lap box, 2 emperor boxes, an old warrior and one or two other random ones for smaller sculpt. A young and something else I can’t think of.

I’ve thought a time or two about asking for boxes. I know some people don’t care about the box (I don’t care as much as some, but… how can you throw away the box with inserts that’s PERFECT for packing these in? What if you move?) and I wondered if maybe somebody who recently bought a new one and didn’t care about the box might sell me one… I need boxes for all three of my males, and for a couple other peices too.

Oh, I’d have never thought of the fakers! Shame on them. Gosh I hate dishonest people.

Anyway. I was just thinkign very small scale. I just need a couple mama boxes, and a faceless male dragon box 😯 . And having boxes for those two hatching critters wouldn’t be bad. Although, they travel well it seems.

Thanks for the answer Spark, that is the part I couldn’t remember.

And for the hatching one, they don’t come with a insert for that one. It is just a small box and they put it in a plastic bag and then wrap it up in tissue paper so it doesn’t move in the box. They then stick that box in another box with peanuts.

I don’t think the danger of fakes in Windstone boxes is really much of an issue, myself. A fake looks like a fake, no matter what kind of box it is in. The biggest issue to me is that we simply don’t have time or space to deal with selling individual boxes. We assemble one kind of box at a time, as needed, for batches of finished things when they are packed. We don’t have the complete boxes sitting around for all the products, that would be impossible..

                    Ah. That too!

                    Darn.

Maybe I will try and ask around for people who don’t want their boxes.
