But, I’ve seen the male pegasus sell for around $100. Good luck selling yours, I offered mine here and on Kijiji and I had no interest.

Do you like have an entire poll set up for this??January 7, 2007 at 3:33 am #524249Although, it depends on how well you photograph your items. I won a near mint male pegasus (he only has a few light scuffs on his knees-easily fixable) for $66 a good while back.

Well, if you were asking me… It’s just that I keep a database of how much Windstones sell for on ebay. I actually started it as a way to figure out how much I should bid on items I wanted… and whenever I see a question like this one I figure, I have the info, why not share it? 😉

That’s very true! I’ve seen items advertised as mint condition, but with very bad or even no picture at all. They’re the ones that usually go for the lowest prices.
I wouldn’t let a bad picture stop me from bidding, but I would definitely ask the seller for a better one before I do.
January 7, 2007 at 4:56 am #524252yay! thanks littleironhorse!!! i know you like getting to put your records to good use!! i would too if i went to the effort of keeping after all of that! good for you! it is really good to know if you come across retireds as to what would be a good investment resell-wise or what might not be worth the effort after shipping to get it initially( if necessary), ebay fees, time, etc. good photos of pieces are no problem here – my dad is a professional photographer : ) funny the pegasus is so much bigger yet it goes for about the same, but i like the hatching emp. more myself.thanks so much!
my friend had a white male dragon her bf gave her for her first xmas gift and she ebayed it a couple years ago when they needed some dough and she only got 40 bucks for it. it broke in shipping for she wasn’t familiar with how fragile they are to pack it safely, so she lost that little money she got for it. i told her if she still had it she’d get probably at least a couple hundred bucks (just guessing) for it now if it was mint -since so many peeps love the whites. poor thing, she was ready to eat her shoes, not to mention the look her bf gave her when he heard what it could have been worth!!January 7, 2007 at 5:11 am #524253Tf, if you don’t want to wait for E-Bay, http://www.shopheadlines.com has an emp for $120.
Okay, correction: had an emp for $120. Should have checked first. But I did notice they put the emerald Riser down to $275, which is a good price for him…
January 7, 2007 at 5:28 am #524254oh, well, i actually found a shop that may still have one- hatching emp. for regular retail/issue price, i’m calling tomorrow morning, i was curious of how good of a deal it would be, getting it at ~$58 plus shipping as opposed to what it goes for now. or if would have been worth the effort to maybe resell him, but i think once i had him in person i’d want to keep him. 😈 he has such a great life like pose!! i love his wide open flat paw on the eggshell, lol! so cute!
January 7, 2007 at 5:32 am #524255$58! Great deal! Especially considering the hatching empresses were in production until a few months ago and they already cost more than that. Go for it!
January 7, 2007 at 5:45 am #524256yeah, that’s why i was like, holy cow if they still had it, i’d hop on it. i needed a manager on the phone though since the fella i got initally was not too familiar with em and they were busy too.i said i’d call back at a slow time when they could really tell me what they had. i bought a peacock young oriental for $56 from em already, i haven’t seen that one around much, and he’s sharp in peacock! now i’m just waiting for him to get here! i know someone on the forum has one, but i forgot who, i’ll have to look. they didn’t have any other orientals though, which was dissapointing. i was going to get the best description i could from someone smart there of all that they had if they would take the time, and if there was anything juicy sounding i’d let folks know on here.
January 7, 2007 at 5:48 am #524257That sounds like a neat store. They don’t keep updated on current Windstone prices at all. 😀

say…if they have the gothic unicorn, any kirins or any more of the big hatchers (emperor empress kinglet) please let me know! ^_^ I especially want any of the hatchers in white…but I’d like the empress in emerald too…someday…
I hope you score that little hatching emp! I got a similar deal thanks to Dragon Master – he found a store near him that had peacock AND emerald hatching emps for around $50 each…I’m still so gosh darn pround of snagging those little guys. They make me happy when I look at them! THANKS DM!!!
