For those of you who were involved in making the bestiary – is there still anyplace I can just buy one?? I’ve been meaning to get one for months, but then I forgot…and if possible, I’d rather not fight over it on ebay.

They are all made by the same people. I know many dog people that would buy those in a heart beat, but I would like to add that the Austrailian Shepherd is not an australian breed. And the Akita is knowen as 2 breeds worlwide, and neither are considered to be true japanese breeds, like my little shiba inu are, LOL 8) .

I looked all over the web before I put in a bid and I could not find them anywhere. There were only 750 made worldwide.
I didn’t know anything about them till this thread, but I really like the idea! I’m guessing they will be very hard to get a hold of? The dog one, although well done, VERY well done…I’m not into furry nudity, even if it IS male nudity.
But Vantid, I love your joker in that deck though!

They did a lot of research into the breeds before hand, and they know that the Aussies are from California, but the took a bit of artistic license to make it work for the calender. If you know of people who would like them, feel free to direct them to the site! All the grids are different, done by hand to look like postcards, and each month is framable on it’s own. 😀
For the Bestiary deck, each artist was given a certain number of decks to sell. There are still artists with decks left, they vary in price depending on how much the artist wants to retail them for. I have one deck left, but I think I’m going to keep it. :3
