I haven’t been working on repairs for a few years now… Mostly because I don’t have much time in between working two jobs, but Shaun just got let go from his job and I’m going to need to fill some financial gaps by the look of it so I will be reopening for small – moderate repair jobs. Smashed to bits I’m probably not going to do right now because I don’t have the time to vest into something that’s going to take me 8+ hours to fix. Also I’m not taking on customers who want to send me a dozen pieces at a time. (As funny as this sounds, it happens more than you would imagine) because I cannot guarantee how fast I will be able to get to them with my current schedule.
Most repairs can take me between 2 – 4 or even up to 6 weeks as I only really have about 3-5 days off in a month long span to work on them freely. With the nicer weather coming I’m more easily to get some work done on those days off since I am not covered in 6 cats in 7 blankets trying to regain the feeling in my fingers because it’s 20 degrees in my studio.
Anyway… I am known for my near flawless repair work because I am incredibly anal when it comes to seamless patching work and custom color matching. I won’t be taking on too many jobs at this time just because I don’t want to get backed up so this will be a first come first serve basis and then I will close once again for the season.
Also, just to cover this question before I am asked, I will not completely repaint your Windstone once it is fixed. I will color match it to the original color or scheme, but I cannot repaint it to look like something different. There are other artists who may offer that service, but I do not have the ability to comply with those requests unfortunately so please do not ask.
How this usually works is once the details are ironed out you ship me your piece, I fix it and send you finished photos. Upon approval of the finished piece, payment is due via paypal for the labor and additionally whatever you paid to ship it I will add to the labor for the cost to ship it back. (However if you do not pack it properly you may be issued a surcharge for me to repack it properly via the double box method to ship back to you. I am also not responsible for additional damages incurred from a piece being packed improperly that is being sent to me.)
If you are interested in getting a quote you can either message me here or email me photos of your issue and I can quote you a price and a time frame. I generally get back to people within 24-48 hours.
I’ve been around here a long time. I may have become more of a lurker as of late, but I’m still here! ^_^ Thanks so much! – drag0nfeathers

Sorry to hear ur boyfriend lost his job.
I bumped my Peacock Beloved Mouse Wizard and he chipped his left ear front and back, couldn’t find pieces I think they turned to dust; the fall was only like 3 feet too.
Also wanted you to fix just the seam of my Hatching Peg if I cannot will try to do it Thursday but for sure want my poor mousie’s ear owie repaired.
Price is fine for both whatever you decide. Hoping I can fix the HP myself but if I cannot will pack him up too.
Please may I send him/ them into you next Thursday or Friday like a week and 3 days ??
Thank you SO MUCH for helping me!!
Warm Hugs !!!

I can ask my cats if they are in the mood to knock any more off the tables.
My keyboard is broken. I keep pressing "Escape", but I'm still here.
October 14, 2017 at 4:51 pm #1530636Another batch of repairs shipping out, and another batch coming in! Thanks to everyone for keeping me busy.
In que is the obliterated Emerald Sun Dragon which is nearing completion (probably going to be one of my proudest before and after unveilings once he’s done) and a Large Adult Rock Dragon that has been a thorn in my side for a long while that’s receiving a full body restoration due to mineral deposits and cement degrading after heavy outdoor use.
Also got a series of little repairs in I’m gonna bang out this weekend. Small knicks and things including some Shrine Stones, a Pebble Sitting Fox, and another Large Wizard with excessive rubs and paint flakes and some other odds and ends.
I need to fix one of my own pieces too since my cat Spike felt it necessary to rub his face all over some pieces on a shelf and knocked my Blue Morpho Moon Dragon over. -_- Thankfully he only had a chipped claw. Why cats feel the need to rub all up on my Windstones when I have PLENTY of cat friendly stuff for them is beyond me… but kitties seem to be the number 1 cause of most of the repairs I get so I guess it must be a cat thing.
Anybody had any luck with a decent free photo hosting site since photobucket went and lost their minds? I’d like to post photos of some recent repairs so you guys can see that as far as repairs go, I am confident in saying that I’m the master of Windstone restoration ^_^

Click on the little “mountain photo” icon (far right at the end of the icons above where you are typing a comment), click on the little camera to the right of the “Source” field – that should call up the photos stored on your computer – select the one you want (the info should appear in the “Source” box), and click OK. Voila – the photo appears.
Also, if you want a more technical description, there is a “How To Do It” posted on page 19 of “New website concerns (fixes, suggestions, etc)” (in the “Help and Feedback” section). I figured it out easily, you should have no trouble at all.

Note that you need to be on the “visual” tab (white background) to do this. It isn’t available on the “text” (black background) tab.

October 17, 2017 at 1:14 pm #1530719OMG! You’re right! Thanks guys! I just noticed this new upgrade! …or maybe it’s an old upgrade and because I haven’t posted much it just “feels” new! ^_^
