Still really rough, but coming along. I am still butchering this version of the sculpture by carving away and then adding epoxy to fix what I hacked off.
He is sitting on my table with other things I am finishing: “Chalice”, the new flion, the new flapcat ( nearly done, after 6 years of sitting around!) and the short haired pyo flapcat.

Love the new Flion! Will it be a PYO or production item ?
The new flap cat and PYO flap cat are wonderful, too.
I’m looking forward to seeing them all in the store.
Everything is looking great! It will be wonderful to have a matching pair for the big flapcats. 🙂
The flion would be an AWESOME PYO!!!! if it were to be one that is..:)
O.O ! loving all of these! can’t wait to see them in the store!
I have a large collection of ceramics waiting for me to paint them – I am very excited about the idea of adding some of these to my collection. Any idea what price range they’ll be when they reach the store? Will they be ceramic or some other material? Can’t wait!
That flion is gorgeous and the little flap cat is so cute!
And here I was thinking the other day – “I wonder if Melody ever considered a large flap cat that faces the opposite direction?” (I’m a sucker for symmetry)
Still loving the PYO Oriental. And that new Flion is singing to me as well.
Oh Wow!
Lovin’ the new Oriental PYO Melody!
Looks like it’ll have a marble in it’s mouth and possibly a hole in the extended paw to add a ‘keep’ like the Keeper Dragon PYO – correct? Oooooooo I can’t wait!
The Flion looks nice as well! How’s the other Ki-Rin coming? 🙂

PYOs are all gypsum like everything here. Price won’t be determined until they’re just about ready to go into the store. How long that will take depends on how busy Melody is.
This photo brings me copious amounts of joy!
Oh he looks darling!! Can’t wait to have one! And also excited over the short haired PYO cat…
Oh my! I can’t wait to see all of these offered in the store.
Looks very nice! Can’t wait for it to come out. Im very interested in the oriental. Also, I’m hoping the pyo frog comes too! 🙂

Unfortunately, the arching body shape of the Oriental dragons seems to be the most difficult to cast, so I am hoping for the best.
These will be solid cast gypsum. ( like plaster, but really dense and hard)

The new flap cat and PYO flap cat are wonderful, too.
I’m looking forward to seeing them all in the store.
I intended for the Flion to be regular production, but I am really sick of the hassle of painting these things…pyo?? Hmmm…

The Flion looks nice as well! How’s the other Ki-Rin coming? :)
Which kirin? The standing baby kirins had some horn fitting issue, so the master needed to be fixed ,and now we need new molds.
The PYO kirin with the more detailed scales is waiting for horns too.

Ooooooooo! Ooooooooo! Mr. Kotter!
I vote for a Flion PYO! 🙂

PYO Flion would be AMAZING
OMG, he’s cute! Will he have horns?
Oh, I forgot there was the standing baby Ki-rin … I meant the newer Ki-Rin PYO with the textured scales that you mention are waiting for horns
Thanks! 🙂
Just curious, approximately how big is he? like say in comparison to some other pyo’s like the small dragon or keeper dragon.
“Hooray!” I look forward to their release!

PYO flapcat!! Yay! *so happy*
Can’t wait to see these all finished!
Eeeee these look so fantastic! I’m so excited about all of these! I really want to paint both PYOs! 😀
I am really looking forward to seeing Chalice in the shop! Can’t buy anything just yet but I’m back to my job again now. As soon as I catch up with a few things, I’m going to save up and go shopping! The only question is whether to buy a pyo dragon first or buy the flion first! 😀
Yes! I’m trying to save as much money as I can… so many upcoming PYOs that I’m interested in getting, besides the GB Dragon and new ‘Hoarder (Bandit?)’ Dragon pieces…
Wish list for upcoming PYOs when they’re done and in the Store:
* New Ki-Rin PYO w/sculpted scales
* Short-haired Flapcat PYO
* Oriental Dragon PYO
…. I’m Especially Excited for the Oriental Dragon PYO! I’ll need to get multiples of him! 🙂
Maybe they’ll hit the Store later this year, around late Spring or Summer perhaps?
Still looking forward to the oriental dragon PYO, especially with this month’s raffle. I plan to console myself with the PYO if/when I don’t win May’s raffle. Course, I plan to buy one even if I did win, because then they’d need to keep each other company. 🙂
Any idea on timing for when the dragon will appear in the shop? I don’t mean to be impatient – just curious. Thanks!
I was wondering if you are still working on the PYO oriental dragon and the others that were being prepared. It’s been awhile since that got posted so I thought I’d ask. Thanks!
