Hatching Kinglet Dragon – Copper Patina

This Hatching Kinglet Dragon has joined our Copper Patina colored dragon family!   When we first moved to Oregon from California, we couldn’t get the castings to come out perfectly. So many came out with pinholes and watermarks that we invented this color to accept life’s randomness, enhance the defects, and make them all beautiful.  We continue to rescue all slightly imperfect castings in this way.

Each one of these is slightly different, because of different defects, and the way the blue/green patina was applied. They have a dark antique, metallic gold trim and are shaded with a touch of purple interference paint. They have metallic teal glass eyes and teal-colored jewels set in their foreheads and copper colored eggs.  Unsigned Limited Production, he is about 3 1/2  inches tall and 4 3/4 inches long.

Introduced in this color on February 24, 2025 with a One Per Customer batch.

These are individually hand-painted so markings may vary slightly. You may find that different lighting displays the colors differently as well.
