Fat Cat – Copper Patina

This is the Pebble Fat Cat painted in “Copper patina”, a color scheme we invented to rescue pieces with slight casting flaws. We give them a textured, “distressed antique” finish that enhances the surface flaws with patina and makes them beautiful!  A few random areas are highlighted with brighter gold, copper, or a hint of violet. We all think they are gorgeous; they look like weathered cast bronze.  These cats vary slightly in texture and color because every one of these is an individual. These pebble animals have eyes that are painted (not glass eyes). They are unsigned limited production.  Approximately 2 3/4 inches long.

The first one of these Copper Patina Fat Cats had no felt pad and was sold in 2013 as a “Special Item” in our webstore for $60.00.   Released in Copper Patina again, now with a felt pad, on May 12, 2025 with a One Per Customer batch.
