Toaster Dragon – Copper Patina (Intense Patina)

This is the Toaster Dragon, painted in Copper Patina with Intense Patina.

They have more of the patina on them than the regular ones – ranging from more purple to more green – each one is different!

“Copper patina” is a color scheme we invented to rescue pieces with slight casting flaws. We give them a textured, “distressed antique” finish that enhances the surface flaws with patina and makes them beautiful!  A few random areas are highlighted with brighter gold, copper, or a hint of violet. We all think they are gorgeous; they look like weathered cast bronze.  Their teal glass eyes and blue zircon colored jewel match the patina color.   These Toasters vary slightly in texture and color because every one of these is an individual.

The Toaster Dragon’s unique pose, with his chest low, elbows up, and tail curled by his side, was humorously described by Melody as “sitting like a toaster” – and the name stuck! This large dragon is comparable in size to the Old Warrior dragon.  Unsigned Limited Production.  About 10 1/2 inches long.
