Mother Dragon – Copper Patina – (Intense Patina)

This is a batch of our Copper Patina Mother Dragons with “Intense Patina”!  They have more of the patina on them than the regular ones – ranging from more purple to more green – each one is different!  This photo shows a very purple one – but the range is great – see the picture of a more green one next to a purple one for comparison.

When we first moved to Oregon from California, we couldn’t get the castings to come out perfectly. So many came out with pinholes and watermarks that we invented this color to accept life’s randomness, enhance the defects, and make them all beautiful.  Each one of these is slightly different, because of different defects, and the way the blue/green patina was applied. They have a dark antique, metallic gold trim and are shaded with purple interference paint. They have light metallic teal glass eyes and teal-colored jewels set in their foreheads.  She is about 9 1/2 inches long.

These are individually hand-painted so markings may vary slightly. You may find that different lighting displays the colors differently as well.
