Lap Dragon – Copper Patina – Teal eyes
The Lap Dragon looks perfectly groomed even when she wears a distressed copper patina finish. These “rescue” dragons are pieces that had slight casting defects. Normally we would have destroyed these, but we have devised a way to make use of otherwise perfectly good dragons by painting them with a textured “distressed antique” finish that enhances the surface flaws with patina and makes them beautiful. A few random scales are highlighted with brighter gold, copper, or a hint of violet, and their gold horns are also antiqued with patina. We all think they are gorgeous; they look like weathered cast bronze. We have given this batch blue zircon jewels and teal eyes. These dragons vary slightly in texture and color because every one of these dragons is an individual. These are unsigned limited production.
These are individually hand-painted so markings may vary slightly. You may find that different lighting displays the colors differently as well. This is a cast gypsum reproduction of an original sculpture by Melody Peña produced by Windstone Editions. This is an unsigned, limited production piece. For indoor display only.
