This is a Curled Dragon painted in “Elven.” The first batch of Elven curlies was the result of an experiment using the colors associated with elves. All of the first batch dragons have a silver face and wings, however the amounts of copper, gold and green on their bodies varied from dragon to dragon, because Melody was trying different combinations of these colors when she painted them. The second batch, released August 2016, has less variation and was painted by one of our production painters. They all have a metallic silver eye and a Jonquil colored Swarovski jewel in their foreheads, and each dragon guards a dichroic crystal globe. These are unsigned limited production.
These are individually hand-painted and markings may vary very slightly. You may find that different lighting displays the colors differently as well. This is a cast gypsum reproduction of an original sculpture by Melody Peña produced by Windstone Editions. For indoor display only.
Introduced January 13, 2014, re-stocked August 23, 2016.
