Just finished this one a few days ago as a commission for my pal lamortefille. This is all hand painted in acrylics, and has 2 layers of satin finish. There is a thin layer of metallic gold over his black mane and tail.
This is certainly the most colorful one I’ve done so far. He was fun though. I never painted zebra stripes before… it wasn’t too much of a pain. I hope you enjoy, lamorte! 🙂You’re so sweet to do this for people who missed out! 🙂

Are you sure you want to try to do an even trade on this? I wish you luck!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 😀
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 😀
Very pretty! Congrats again 😀
The orange eye on the new and improved amethyst curlie looks perfect to me.
60 should last a while in the store… I hope!I really like the orange eyes on her. It really sets her off, and lavender eyes are just used too much.
Congrats, Tyrrlin! 🙂
I like either one, but think the red eye and jewel stand out better. I’m just glad a lavender eye isn’t being used on this one. Yellow would probably be cool though.
I agree with the others who mentioned it… a coiled mother in this amethyst color would be just gorgeous!
If the buyer hasn’t paid by a deadline I have set, then I’ll send them a friendly reminder the next day. If still nothing by that evening, then I’ll usually give them another 2 or 3 days. If still nothing.. then I’ll send another reminder, and indicate that the item will be relisted if they do not contact me. If a week or more goes by with no contact from the buyer, then I would take it to the next level. I’ve never had to go that far though. At least not yet! All the ones I’ve dealt with that did not pay right away, eventually did a few days after the deadline. In those cases, the person was delayed usually due to being out of town or sick. One time, the person said he didn’t even know he won!
Good luck with your buyer. I hope it works out okay, and they pay for the wolf.

Kinda like how the griffins and flapcats are… just in a collar style. Purpleturtle’s idea of something like what the small flappers have would be nice for the wolf I think.
Sounds good, now we just need to convince Melody to do it! 😀
Although, Ski does make an interesting point; Would the collar or chain turn non Windstone collectors off? Or should we not even consider them? 😕 😀
Everyone has different tastes. The wolf would look good either way. Some folks think he’ll look more natural without it, but what is natural about a wolf with wings to begin with? Same thing with the flapcats. We know what they look like with necklaces and collars. What if they didn’t have them? People would probably still buy them, cause they’re so beautiful anyway. These are fantasy sculptures, and I think the necklaces/collars just kinda highlight that. Just my opinion on the whole thing!
Great sketches! 🙂 I really like that first one, but still think the Copper Nettuce sketch is one of the most beautiful ones for the Poads.
It appears that ******** did win the Lap. I know it’s her goal to get at least one of every new color Ebay Lap, curlie, and Male. Maybe I’m forgetting 1 or 2 sculpts here. 😆
Great pics! 😀 You have quite a few Ebay Poads, don’t ya? They’re all so pretty, but I really do like your newest addition. She kinda reminds me of my golden butterfly Poad, with the orange eyes and the pattern/colors on her back.
