Thanks. 😀 Glad you guys like ’em. I really should get around to coloring them…

That was pretty much the idea I was going for. 😀
A pair of pony characters I’ve drawn some lately, sharing a romantic moment.
I’m very glad you like it. 😀
Oh hey! I should mention, for anybody who wants a plush from me but can’t afford one, that I do trade Windstones for these!
I’m particularly looking for Fledglings. I need the Red Fire, the Emerald Peacock, and the Copper Patina. For one of those I will make ANY plush you like. Possibly even two, if you want something relatively simple.
Just FYI. 😀
I know what a Candiru is, and I don’t blame your husband for not liking ’em! But that is completely hilarious.
Glad you guys like ’em. 🙂 And I’m always happy to talk commissions! 😀
Glad you guys like him. 😀
I finished LadyFirebird’s phoenix bear today. He came out very nicely!
Did a couple of really quick sketches. One is if a bear that is a little bit phoenix, the other is of a phoenix that’s a little bit bear. 😀 the first one will be easier to make, since it’s nearly entirely the bear pattern. The second would be a bit harder, with having to do a beak and so on, but still quite possible.
Just saw Avatar. It was AWESOME. (And they give the critters lots of screen time.)
Honestly I don’t think the 3D added any to the experience, I’ll probably go see it again without it.
And man, that art book makes me wish I had money! (The review linked here though… WTF? The guy basically slams the book in every single paragraph. And… the technology to do this was in the Final Fantasy movie? Ha!!!! No flipping way. The CG in that still looked like it was fake. This looked real. They’re not even in the same league.)
I’m already doodling up some fan art, just because the creature design is so neat that I can’t help but want to draw things! I’m trying to draw a Leonopteryx (the giant version of the flying things they ride) but it’s hard to find decent references of it, and I’m just not good enough to get the anatomy right just from having seen it for a few minutes on screen.
http://www.sparkcostumes.com/artwork/albums/userpics/leonopteryx.jpg <–attempt at getting the Leonopteryx down on paper. It has some issues. 😛 The proportions are off and I don't think I have the wings quite right.
Holy HANNAH. I mean I was hoping to get a few bucks more than I paid for him, but this is nuts! Not that I’m complaining though!

I wonder….
I’ve had said lady be a jerkwad to me too. So… even though everybody else tells me she’s nice, I don’t think I believe them.
One day left on the auction.
A griffin would be fun to try! And I would LOVE to do a phoenix. I’ll have to doodle up some ideas for how a phoenix-bear would look!
