Sun Dragon Koi #3Well, that makes sense. As long as they aren’t making you pay the list fee it is at least mostly fair. It is annoying though because the real winner will have to go through the auction all over again and might not win the second time. Or maybe they won’t be available to participate. I think I’d at least like the chance to decide, but I suppose that is why Windstone offers the second chance to the runner up. I hope it works out okay for you.

I was also wondering if they don’t give you the auction info in an attempt to make you re-list it instead of offering to the next highest bidder? It’s kind of underhanded to not provide you with the list of bidders if you paid to have the auction listed.

Sun Dragon Koi #3I got a huge surprise yesterday. I received a box from Windstone that I thought was my Gold Spot Male #3. Which confused me becuase I had an email from Susie saying he hadn’t been shipped yet becuase they were waiting to sign his letter. SO here I am thinking, UH OH they sent me my griff and he doesn’t have his COA. Much to my delight and surprise and when I opened the box there was note that said Happy Birthday and a very lovely Silver Lap Dragon. My roommate had bought her for me for my birthday which is a week from tomorrow. I was so totally not expecting that. This is the third Windstone I have been given, so she’ll have a place of honor with my Scratcher and Coiled male. All three have been birthday presents but it has been close to 10 years since I received the Coiled male. My Scratcher was the first piece I ever owned and he was also a b-day gift.

When you say 50 of each, do you mean there are only 100 total of all the royal hatchers and there will be about 16 for each of the style/color combinations? Or did you mean there will be about 50 for each style/color combo?
I’m thinking probably 50 of each type, becuase I can count at least 16 silver empresses and there are some hiding on the wheel.

Sun Dragon Koi #3The very first piece I was ever the first bidder on 😀 He should be winging his way home soon, probably thursdayish. I think he’ll go nicely with the GS female #1, they’re both very gray. Now I have a blander one (although if he’s like the female he’s be fabulous) to go with my very active Bronze one. Although I was looking at my griffins and except for GS Female #1 they all have lavender eyes. Now we just need some more test paint chicks to go with my new Griffs 😆

Make it so!Can’t make the blackfire ki-rins so. They are difficult to paint, and not a good candidate for a production color. Deer colored ki-rins, however… that I can do.

Okay then, Well how about a limited run of them? For either ebay or set a higher price on them in the store.
