He is definitely one of my very favorite characters on the show both American and British versions. He is the dark horse, the underdog, the least-expected and yet he wins it all! He walked onto that stage with that mopey face of his, and blows them all away! It takes me to tears every time. Now if I only knew what he the translation to what he was singing… 🙂
Yes for me! I want to show my grandkids in the future… See, children, this is what the most beautiful sculptures looked like. And this was just before the hypertechnical holographic model came out…. Reminiscant!
I’m soo very envious!!! Oops, I’ve turned green.
*looks up at DM* Joy joy?
It any case…

Personally, I am biased because I have a friend who put many years, countless hours and his own self into it. Playing the game was very interesting, though the plot itself was kinda.. eh. I think they should’ve kept with the original plan of dragons going after goats and humans like natural beasts, as opposed to being controlled by stupid hu-mans. I enjoyed the graphics and the idea. It kept my husband hooked until he beat it, so it must’ve been alright.

Trust me when I say this was the first thing I noticed and the first reason I gave it up. It was virtually impossible for me-someone who never plays with the controller anyhow, to get anywhere or accomplish anything. However, they did come up with an update for the bluetooth that made it a much smoother command. So that will definitely help… Well, on second thought, maybe it’s just the fact that they were dragons… and dragon’s wouldn’t listen to some jerk hitting them with a club anyhow. 😛

It’s not a movie, however, if you’re into Dragon action there is a PS3 (yeah, sorry, I know) game that is called “Lair“. My good friend was on the production team and I got a copy asap. It’s wicked awesome and you get to “be” the dragon. The bluetooth wireless capabilities in the controller allow you to wing the dragon around. Pretty awesome. It was probably the CGI basis of the Dragon Wars movie because I notice a lot of similar moves and one dragon types looks the same.

I hope you’re right. I’m definitely on the vote for more production choices.
*hugs*
Ha! Since I was the only one who voted for the original ruby… thought I’d say “Why”…
As much as I enjoy the variations of the others, they’re too hard to mass produce and more likely to fly through and quit. Harder to get ahold of, hard to afford the whole collection. Up and retired after two years?
I know a single $1000 piece is as profitable as five $200 ones, but that’s five more people who are able to enjoy her work. Plus, more people have $200 for a gorgeous piece than they do $1000 to plop on a special or large gorgeous piece. My two cents. 🙂

Thank you. 🙂 I’ll check it out.
Windstones and their collectors are the greatest. Ever.
I went to Armor Geddon in Cupertino this weekend. They had an amazing total of six painted windstones for me to choose from. I can’t decide what color spectral I want. The red looks so cool, but I don’t have any of the em-pea so I was considering that and then I got confused and overwhelmed because I wanted to by them all but I couldn’t.
There was a little rainbow colored mama waiting to be bought if anyone was interested. Didn’t catch her price but they were all quite reasonable.
I’m still short a new windstone, but feel much cheerier because I was able to see some very good friends this weekend. Couldn’t ask for more. 🙂
At first when I saw the bright yellow wings I wasn’t interested, but after seeing a few more angles… I really like the coloring!!! Great job! I hope you continue working with the PYOs, appears you’ve got a bit of talent up your sleeve 😉
That you removed all your windstones from their shelves for company, cleaned them, put them back in, tried to sleep, then got back up and rearranged them again?
I got just a little solace from them, but it was at least something. Especially those special pieces from people both here on the forum and in my life(my black kitty memorial, my fixed up black curlie from my brother, my black golds from my dad, the ruby ow that reminds me of my friend, my peacocks from my mom)…
I am waiting for the upswing. I’ll feel better in a little while. Just need to buy a Spectral or a Hatching Emporer and I’ll be all better… LOL! 😆
I hadn’t really set a figure… unfortunately it’s not worth the same as whole. So throw some numbers at me.
