That’s a neat website Mimi- I saw a white one and a black one both in Washington DC back in hih school. They’re beautiful in life 😀
The black ones come to my yard but I’ve never seen a white one. I’d love to see one in person…

Yes, I agree…I’m going to start on that this summer when I can sit outside again. I’m going to see if I can sell them on the idea that the patio table is a good place to be…it’d be neat if they would actually come and sit on the patio table to eat nuts! 😀
Yuck! That situation sounds pretty bad too. Is there some reason that they don’t get rid of her if her performance is so poor?
I hope everything goes smoothly and you get all of your money back. But reading your post makes me even more convinced to stick with UPS — they didn’t give me any trouble the one time that I had a claim (damaged painting that cost ~2k) and I got reimbursed in ~2 weeks.

I’ve never had any problem either…and we’re both in northern CA — wonder if that has anything to do with it?
Huh…you’d be surprised. They’re very skeptical customers…I don’t think the squirrel salon idea has really caught on yet in SquirrelLand…ah well, but there’s hope…

Naturally! The patio table’s pretty big (~8 ft long) so I can set up different areas for all of the activities…lots of snacks in each area of course…

Hmm…I didn’t see any video related to squirrels, but they did talk about them and they referred to a site that has a neat article: http://www.cryptomundo.com/cryptozoo-news/2006-bw-squirrels/

Good idea…probably need to offer almond and walnut scented shampoos also, for variety…

But the squirrel salon idea is nice…though I think I’d have trouble getting customers…have not even been able to get any volunteers for free shampoo and fluff so far…they just don’t seem to be into this kind of thing…sigh…
They are just shy. You have to have the right incentives. Lots of finger food laying about. Maybe after you get a customer or two, they can spread the word…of course now it goes back to the “Working for peanuts” thing…
You’re right, its all about having the right advertising. Probably I need to put the whole salon setup out on the patio table and have bowls of assorted nuts and snacks set out for the customers…Very true!
Eek! No waxing!

Mos def! I’m feeling that way right now… 🙂
And that’s a neat transporter effect! Where do you find these things?
Awwwww…having a bad day? Who do we need to vaporize?
Some idiots at work…but I think the Klingon agonizer would be better than vaporizing them. 😈 Actually, these people are at an outside company that my company’s hired to do chip designs for us. They don’t do what they’ve committed to, and are always late with their action items. And they have the gall to come back 4 months before the chip design is due to be finished and say that they haven’t put in features that were discussed and specified a year ago…WOW, suck. I hate it when people don’t do as they say they will and it directly affects your productivity and metrics! Seems so unfair to be judged by other people’s less-than-satisfactory performance as your own
Fortunately I have everything documented so its very clear who’s at fault. But of course, if the project goes badly everyone looks bad no matter whose fault it is…Well, I’ve had to escalate this so now the design VP is aware of these issues…and these people are under scrutiny now. They’ve gotten nasty emails from me and several other managers last week…so hopefully they’ll clean up their act. But if not — then their CEO might end up hearing about it, and we’re their largest customer by far. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that… And unfortuately we can’t get rid of these idiots right now but I would definitely celebrate if we ever do… 😈
But the main problem is that these idiots are wasting a lot of my time and I have too much other crap I need to get done before the Christmas shutdown as it is. Sometimes I feel like going into the padded closet and screaming… 😡
